JCL and Delphi 2005

By | January 25, 2009

The JCL support for Delphi 2005 was broken for a long time due to a compiler bug. But today I figured out how to work around this compiler bug (I doubt that CodeGear will fix bugs in Delphi 2005). All Delphi 2005 users who couldn’t upgrade to a newer JCL can download the tomorrow’s daily zip or wait for an additional Delphi 2005 release of the recently released JCL 1.104.

There is also a binary web installer for the JCL and JVCL available which is based on the development version of the two packs and that includes Delphi 2005 support and few additional bug fixes. The binary web installer not only contains the JCL and JVCL source code, it also contains the compiled packages (*.bpl, *.dcp, *.dcu, *.lib, *.bpi, *.hpp).

These installers are not part of the official release.

JCLSetup.exe (3.7 MB + 36.6 MB download on demand files)
JVCLSetup.exe
